COLLECTIONS - JUNE 2025

June's writing competition was Poetry, but with a difference!

(Thanks to our Sumi for this excellent challenge)

Poets were given the following four broad topics:

Nature

Family

Holidays

Food

Poets then had to choose one of the topics above for an entry (maximum of two entries per poet).

The challenge was to write three poems as one "collection" but written in three styles:

Haiku, Cinquain, and Limerick.

The competition proved very popular indeed! 25 Entries were received and can now be read (below).
