FLASH FICTION COMPETITION FOR DECEMBER 2024

For December's flash fiction competition, the theme is Message In A Bottle.

You are invited to write a piece of flash fiction - the criteria is as follows:

Minimum of 500 - Maximum of 800 words.
Please title your work clearly, but do not use the theme title.
Please do not put your name on the entry.
Format - word or pdf
Please check your entry carefully before emailing as changes cannot be made after submission.
Maximum of 2 entries per person
Please email your entry to Helen lels40@hotmail.com AND Ian ianwelland@hotmail.co.uk
Watford Writers' competitions are only open to those on the current email circulation list.
Date for final submission: FRIDAY 3 JANUARY 2025, 7pm.
Scoring will be open from 10am on Saturday 4 January to Noon on Friday 10 January 2025 - details on how to score will follow.
If you enter the competition, you must score - failure to score will result in your entry being disqualified!

Results to be announced at our Zoom Meeting on Monday 13 January 2025.
