SUNDAY 8 JUNE 2025

KIDSLIT and WATFORD WRITERS at the

BUSHEY PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL

There are three ways you can get involved in this year's Bushey Performing Arts Festival:

Dirty Rascals Stage

This stage is aimed at children, most of whom will be fairly young.

This will be organised and compered by our Chris McDermott. Chris welcomes all performers and asks that they contact him to confirm their attendance, so that he can coordinate the programme/activities. If you are unable to attend but would like your piece read out at the Festival, please also contact Chris, who will in turn arrange the reading. 🙂

In terms of length, it is anticipated that each act or performance will last about five minutes. The aim will be to have as many people reading as possible. Chris has spoken about having children read as well as adults.

Chris's email address is: benhannick@aol.com

Chris looks forward to hearing from you.

The Wildflower Stage

Poets are invited to recite between musical acts (the Wildflower Stage will be under the stewardship of festival organiser, Ray Coffer). If you would like to perform on the Wildflower Stage (mindful that you may have musicians "tuning up" in the background) please contact Ray / the festival via the facebook page or email Ray: busheyperformingartsfestival@gmail.com

Poets' Corner

Like the Wildflower Stage, this stage will be co-ordinated by the festival organiser, Ray Coffer, who can be contacted via the following email address: busheyperformingartsfestival@gmail.com

Our Chris will compere the stage on the day, but will not be involved in the organisation.
